HVAC Apprentice - Entry Level
Job description
We are seeking an HVAC Apprentice to join our 5-Star Award Winning Team!
The HVAC Apprentice will report to the Operations Manager and perform apprentice-level work in the trade of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance trade and related work as required. This is an entry-level position in which the employee will go through a rigorous company training process where they will learn how to assist in areas of installation, service, and repair of residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, and ventilation. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, very motivated, and has great customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare job sites prior to job start
- Assist with installation of new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Check systems to ensure proper running cycle and temperatures, level of refrigerant and for leaks
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent and insurable driving record
- Ability to handle physical workload- can lift 50 +lbs
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
